Ofsted
All providers who offer care and education must be registered with and inspected by Ofsted – Office for Standards in Education. Ofsted believes that inspection is the best way to serve the public through encouraging high standards and helping settings to improve and succeed.
Ofsted checks that regulatory requirements are being met – things such as staff qualifications, ratio’s and First Aid requirements – and that the premises are safe and secure. In addition, Ofsted look at the quality of the provision and make a judgement on this, which is then published in a report. They look at the learning that is taking place, how that learning is presented, and if it puts children’s needs and interests at the forefront. Inspectors look at the quality of teaching offered by individual practitioners and the team as a whole, evaluating how well practitioners know the children in their care, the experiences children arrive with, and how effectively they plan for, and deliver, children’s future learning and development.
Our Report
We would like to inform you that the full Ofsted Report from our inspection which took place on Wednesday 9th November 2022 is now available on the Ofsted website. You can access it via the following link: https://reports.ofsted.gov.uk/provider/16/2585942.
We are delighted to confirm that our setting has been graded ‘Good’ overall.
The process was rigorous, and we are pleased that all our Team’s effort and hard work has been acknowledged. We would like to thank all those who took part in the inspection; staff, parents and children alike.
Our setting’s ‘Good’ grading is a benchmark that is high under the current Ofsted framework. As you will see, the report itself is very detailed and highlights the many elements of ‘Good’ provision at Mini Miracles Montessori as well as the next steps needed to turn us into a potentially ‘Outstanding’ nursery. What is satisfying is that the two areas listed were within our Nursery Improvement Plan prior to the inspection, with one area already at ‘action’ stage.
We encourage you to read the report in full and please contact us if you have any questions.
