The name Mini Miracles was chosen to represent exactly what we think of children; that they are a gift, an amazing and wonderful occurrence, each one unique.
Mini Miracles Montessori was first established in 2020. We provide a homely, happy, family-based environment for children to feel cared for whilst enjoying learning at their own pace. The nursery is a family-run business with over 77 years of combined teaching experience. We run the nursery on a full-time basis – that is from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday for 50 weeks of the year. We are, of course, an Ofsted registered nursery.
Working With You
The happiness and well-being of your child is of upmost importance to us, but we also realise that it is vital that we earn the trust and confidence of you, the parent, and that you are content with what we do and how we do it. Working together we can produce happy, confident children who thrive and have every opportunity to fulfil their natural, innate potential.
You can keep track of what your child has been doing daily via our dedicated smartphone application. We also send out regular news updates to all our parents, including those on the waiting list, and we have a dedicated Facebook page, Instagram page and Twitter handle so you can stay informed on the go. We also take communicating with each individual family about the specific progress of their own child very seriously. Each child’s Key Person will create an individual ‘Learning Journal’ for them, capturing your child’s progression, with photos, observations by staff and examples of work. These have proven extremely popular, and of course you get to keep them at the end of the year!
Perhaps most importantly, all our staff are regularly available at the start and end of each day to talk to about anything you may wish; your child’s progress, any concerns you may have, anecdotes about your child, or just a chinwag!
The MMM Approach
At Mini Miracles Montessori we believe that allowing children access to good quality pre-school education enhances their future life chances. It is a belief that is backed up by research and as such we genuinely want our nurseries to be the best and we want your child’s nursery experience to be positive, meaningful and above all fun. In addition, we recognise that each child is an individual with their own specific needs. Our staff tailor each child’s care and learning plan to their unique requirements and create an environment that celebrates all that makes them a special individual.
We take care of the children entrusted to us, their families, our dedicated staff and our local community. We are eager to help others, we pay attention to detail, we’re consistent and we are willing to take ownership of issues should they ever arise.
We are honest, we take pride in the work we do and we believe in the service we provide. We place a high importance on having trust and respect as we believe it creates a positive atmosphere for all. We are open and honest with children, parents, colleagues and other agencies we work with. We always try to do the right thing, even when no one else is watching.
We innovate constantly by turning problems into opportunities and ideas into creative solutions. Innovation in action is challenging our own thinking and striving for a continuous improvement mindset because we want to be the best we possibly can be. We also innovate together; our clients’ input helps us develop our service to best serve their needs.
We love what we do and we believe that when we love people, we serve differently. Love is one of the essential human emotions; it’s what drives us, and as social creatures, it’s what connects us. We can teach basic skills without love, but to truly make a difference in a young child’s life, there needs to be love. Love turns our teaching into an art where we explore different ways of connecting to subject matter and to our children. Love brings patience and understanding, which are vital in teaching.
We thrive on diverse voices. We engage our employees’ and clients’ experiences, strengths, and different points of view to inform, challenge, and stretch our thinking. We also believe that teaching children to have cultural awareness from a very early age is the best way forward to crack stereotypes. We engage our children in culturally responsive experiences so that their awareness and inclusion of diverse cultures and beliefs increases, and the more they are able to understand their community and make valid contributions.
To make your CHILD the centre of everything we do.
To change the world one CHILD at a time.
Children are the world’s most valuable resource and its best hope for the future. The children of today are destined to become the leaders of tomorrow and will undoubtedly push the human race forward. Our belief, that even the smallest person can change the course of the future, shapes our practice and encourages us to treat every child as a unique individual and tailor their education to best suit their learning style.
We aim to achieve our vision by offering a broad learning and development programme that integrates the Montessori approach alongside the standards set in the Early Years Foundation Stage. It is internationally recognised that the Montessori teaching method provides an excellent springboard from which children can take maximum advantage of the facilities offered to reach their full potential. Thus, our purpose is to provide children with a good all-round educational foundation, based on the Montessorian principles of nurturing independence and self-confidence in a safe and warm environment, upon which their primary schooling can later build.

Why Choose Us?
Your child is the most important person in the world to you. They deserve to be encouraged, nurtured, supported and loved every step of the way. At Mini Miracles we constantly ask ourselves “would we want this for our own children or family members?” It is a great question that guides our practitioners, managers and senior team and ensures that your child is at the centre of everything we do. But don’t just take our word for it, have a look at what our past and present Parents think of us:
