Simran Vilkhu

I’m Simran Vilkhu (AKA Ms. Sim Sim), the Manager and owner of Mini Miracles Montessori. I am qualified as a Level 3 Early Years Educator with a Level 4 in Integrating Montessori Practice through Montessori Centre International. I have also completed Advanced Forest School training. I also hold certificates in Full Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, Prevent Duty, Food Hygiene L2 and a clear CRB check. I decided to take up childcare as a new career 9 years ago. I have enjoyed every part of the experience, from working with different age groups, taking on different roles, working with some amazing teachers and learning new things from them.

My passion for Montessori began right from the day one. I found that this method of teaching has a really positive impact on the children, allowing them to gain lots of independence, freedom of choice and building their knowledge through hands on manipulation of materials rather than direct instruction. I found that children relish their own discovery-based learning.

Today, my love for childcare grows even more with having my own Nursery. My goal is to provide the best care for young children and help them reach their full potential.
